Fajalauza, five centuries of artisan pottery.
Our pottery was born in Granada, it takes its name from the `Puerta de Fajalauza’ (Fajalauza gate).
It’s been typical of the city of the Alhambra for five centuries, it has its origins in the Mozarab era and it has made it to our times intact.
This popular hand-painted pottery made with glazed and decorative clay, is still very much used in Spain and it tells a story about the history and culture of the Country.
